Sandi Cohn

Sandi Cohn is the Project Manager at Summit Financial Partners, where she brings a diverse background in education, finance, and tax advisory to her role. With 18 years of industry experience, Sandi's career journey is marked by a continuous pursuit of growth and learning. At Summit Financial Partners, Sandi's role as a Project Manager is integral to the firm's operations, where she applies her deep understanding of numbers and her passion for helping people to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Sandi's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Education from Azusa Pacific University, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Initially starting her career as a high school math teacher, she spent four years in the classroom before deciding to shift her focus from education to finance. This transition led her to American Funds, where she progressed from customer service to marketing support and then to an internal wholesaler.

After earning her MBA, Sandi ventured into entrepreneurship by starting her own tax practice. She also joined Intuit-Turbo Tax, where she advanced from a Tax Expert to Standards Evaluation and then to Standards Evaluation Manager. Today, alongside managing her tax practice, Sandi contributes her extensive skills to Summit Financial Partners.

Having grown up in Barstow, California, Sandi has since settled in Carmel Mountain Ranch in San Diego, California, with her husband Craig, stepson Garrett, and their two rescue dogs, Cujo and Laci. Outside of her professional life, Sandi enjoys hiking, traveling, and solving puzzles.
